Paisley Blues

I occasionally do painting demonstrations for local art groups and in the last few weeks I’ve done a couple for the lovely folk of Bearsden and Paisley . For various technical reasons , that I won’t bore you with , during these demonstrations , I usually work on a few of my wee close watercolours . I start one from scratch and , in best ‘Blue Peter’ tradition , have a few I prepared earlier . This way I can work on several that are in different stages over the course of the evening . This is the one I began at the recent Paisley Art club event and managed to finish earlier today. I’m calling it ‘Paisley Blues ‘ ( although it’s actually a Glasgow not a Paisley tenement ) as that’s quite possibly the emotion that many of the Paisley Buddies felt after listening to me witter on for 2 hours while watching paint dry .
