A lovely bright , sunlit close on a fairly run-down street in the Cessnock area of Glasgow . Slightly down at heel areas serve as prime hunting ground for me to find subject matter . The main advantage of this tenement was that there was no security lock at the entrance , so I could quickly nip in to take some photos quite easily . You’re hard pressed to find security-entrance-free closes in the more respectable parts of the city these days . Good for residents , I suppose , but inconvenient for nosey painters of closes
