Cottiers is a lovely bar and venue in Glasgow’s West -End . This painting was initially a commission , but is one of a few variations I completed . This is often the way I work . I find a subject I’m interested in and experiment with several versions until I’ve exhausted the potential ( or I’m just exhausted ) . Probably a few more paintings of Cottiers to do yet though
